Mary studied at the Corcoran School of Art, Washington, DC, the Toronto School of Art, the Atlin Centre for the Arts, Atlin, BC and the Haliburton, School of Art, Haliburton, ON.

Her work has been shown at numerous solo exhibits in galleries and fine art venues throughout Ontario. Her paintings have been displayed at the Women's Art Association of Canada Art Gallery, OKeefe Centre for the Performing Arts, The McGill Club, Pauline McGibbon Cultural Centre, The Club at the Bond Head Gallery, Bond Head, ON.

Mary has travelled widely working in watercolour throughout Canada, Mexico and Provence. She was one of 25 selected Canadian artists who travelled to the High Arctic in the summer of 2006 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first ship to complete the voyage through the northwest passage. For more information see: www.nwp100.com. Since their return she has exhibited with the group in various venues in Ontario and BC. As well as en plein air painting she has done silk screens, silk screen monoprints and encaustic monoprints.

She is a member of the Arts and Letters Club of Toronto where she shows her work in member's juried shows. Mary is also a member of the Women's Art Association of Canada.
